Welcome

Welcome to eobjects.org. This is a website dedicated to the development of Open Source software related to Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Our philosophy is to provide the best open platform for collaboration on the software in order to let it thrive. The goals of our projects is to be the best in covering needs that have not yet been succesfully met by other open source projects, or even commercial ones. This is especially the case for our flag-ship data quality application,  DataCleaner, and for our highly reusable datastore engine,  MetaModel.

Organization

The driving force of eobjects.org is passionate contributors. We don't just invite software developers into the game, we have lot's of ways you can contribute, so don't be shy. Professionals and hobbyists, companies and individuals are all welcome. We act on our own ideas and those ideas that come from our users - as such we consider every piece of feedback and every good idea as a contribution itself! Projects

On these pages you can follow the progress of the eobjects.org projects. We have host several categories of projects, primaril concentrated on databases and business intelligence:

  •  DataCleaner, an application for profiling, validation and comparison of data - in short data quality.
  •  MetaModel, a common domain model, query-engine and optimizer for different kinds of datastores.
  •  AnalyzerBeans, a library aimed at providing an elegant API and useful components for data analysis.
  •  SassyReader, a reader of SAS data sets, aka. .sas7bdat files.
  • BIRT Report Portlet, a JSR-168 compliant portlet for viewing eclipse BIRT reports.

Additionally, we host a range of early stage "Sandbox projects", which work as a useful and productive playground for innovation and creativity.
